What should we do as a Guild???

As you may or may not know, I am currently not in the guild (roster) but I am coming back! With this said, I know many people are getting bored with the game and such, so I am asking for some opinions on what we could do (as a guild) to keep us entertained so we do not waste all of Steve's hard work in recuriting!

My ideas (some of them)

Help one person a week get a title they are seeking
i.e
Treasure hunter (run with them)
Led Survivor
HM anything
Cartography
PvP ???

DoA
Urgoz
Deep

I, myself was loving the GvG thing we were doing, but inorder for this to happen we need to have a core group with a PVP slot avaliable as builds change/nerf/buff.
PvE characters are not always the best as armor needs to be changed with runes, equip, etc. Also, the people doing this almost need to have a Mic THAT WORKS and on vent! PvP can be fun and a good break from the usual.

Yeah, the guild's slowing down, and not just by a bit. I hope all you schooling bastards are getting straight A's. I've been having mouse problems the past few days and been spending most of the time getting my new characters done, but I'll probably start doing a bit more recruiting. More or less almost everyone that was recruited over the past 2 months is now AFK or gone. That sucks. I'll just need to find the new hotspot where everyone is these days.


I think GvG is pretty cool. I'd love to get a dedicated team to do it seriously.


My main PvE focus atm is getting these characters done, but once they're done, I'll help anyone with their titles. After I get these 4 chars finished, pretty much my goals for this game will be complete and I can just spend my time helping anyone who needs it (plus I'll have one of every class everywhere again to help out with whatever wherever). Not going to waste my time with titles for the most part on any of my other characters until ANet starts spilling the beans on exactly how these GW2 bonuses are going to be distributed.


Hell, if GW is really getting that boring for all of us, I wouldn't be against trying to find one of those free grind-heavy MMOs that are out there and all of us getting into that. I bet some of those free MMOs would be pretty cool if we had a bunch of us trying to learn them. What really sucks is trying one of those out and being all alone. It kind of sucks and makes you lose interest quickly.


After seeing these forums sit around collecting dust for pretty much the past year, it's nice to see the forums going again. It's good to have some place to mess around in.

Also keep in mind that the holiday events are coming up soon, so we can start focusing on acquiring stacks of collector drops. I know that's my aim once I finish these characters up. When Wintersday comes, we can do that damn Polar Bear quest until we all get one.

Very True Steve, I too wanted to get all my "NEW" charatcers to all places in all games like you, I just don't know how you do it. I play one character enough then get bored, redo a character while the other sit collecting virutal dust....

We will see where this goes. I hope to get input from others, like Jynx, Del, Chris, etc.

I don’t think that the prob is the amount of activities we do or don’t do. I mean when we were goin strong there was hm dungeons bein run, pvp, hm missions and zones and deep etc. This proves that we can and will do anything if there are ppl present who actually want to do anything.

I'm all for del's suggestion with Sarge's wife ^_^ Other than that as you all know I am completely down for all the PvP possible. Start nightly HA runs and nightly GvGs the guild has become far more interested in PvPing than I ever though possible. I really am at the point where pve is about to kill me just from the repeating everything. money is cool but ranking people is way better not going to lie. other than PvP stuff is beyond easy unless we go as a guild group and we always fail. :( The more we practice pvping the better we will get naturally we will suck until we get to know how each other play. so I mean failure is inevitable but people me included just need to chill and not rage when we get our asses handed to us. On the HA note Def need to run easier builds for the time being. and not rage or get mad at people who are learning. im sure I ran off topic just a little but oh well peace thats my opinion i win! u lose! get owned!

Perhaps a core PvP team for any time, and then a smaller team made of those who play mostly on the weekend now that school/work/whatever has started up?
